As a filmmaker and photographer, I have been privileged to tell hundreds of love stories up and down the East Coast and beyond. Over the years, I've learned that the most powerful moments are the ones that are raw and honest, the ones that make you feel truly seen and understood. I believe that your love is more than just your wedding day, and my goal is to capture it in a way that is true to all of the moments that led you there. I focus on creating films and photos that are full of heart, and that leave space for the raw moments- the unexpected belly laughs and heartfelt tears. I translate that into a style that prioritizes the organic and candid moments that happen between you and your people on your wedding day. My style takes a deeper, more authentic approach to your wedding day, and I’d be honored to tell your story.

Mist + Moss began as the creative collaboration between me and my wife Lauren. We’re so proud of what we’ve accomplished with our work for our couples, and have honestly had the best time doing it. Today, you’ll find Lauren behind the scenes editing the finest films on the market and continuing to pursue her passion for filmmaking. When we are not behind a camera or computer, you can find us trying to keep up with our young son, hiking new trails with our doggy, or trying out a new cafe. It's been incredible to expand our team to include Warren, allowing us to offer full service film and photo services. Warren is an amazing film and digital photographer who has been skillfully capturing weddings since 2018.

The newest addition to Mist + Moss, Warren completes our team, allowing us to offer a comprehensive media experience for your wedding day. Centered around you and your experience with us, we operate as one streamlined and efficient team, capturing stunning photo and video while giving you more time to enjoy what matters most.

Lauren is co-founder of Mist + Moss and now works behind the scenes guiding creative direction. She continues to edit some of the best wedding films Mist + Moss produces, and occasionally she'll still film alongside Chad.

When not lending her expertise to Mist + Moss, she freelances for other production studios as editor

I loved the human connection of storytelling from an early age, so it feels a bit magical that my job entails meeting so many unique individuals and capturing their stories.

  • When not documenting weddings, you’ll find me spending time with my son and beautiful wife and life partner or out on a local disc golf course.

  • I’ve traveled the world, but I have lived my entire life on the East Coast and I think that it is underrated in terms of the beauty it has to offer. From the cities to the mountains, I love exploring and showcasing the “where” of each of my films.

  • My couples describe me as super laid back! I bring a sense of calm to your wedding day and help ease any stress.
